London CNN —Four players from Real Madrid’s reserve teams are being investigated by police after a mother alleged videos of a sexual nature involving her 16-year-old daughter were circulated without her consent. Three players were arrested and later released after their mobile phones were seized, according to a statement issued by Spain’s Guardia Civil. The daughter was in a consensual relationship with a player, the statement added. Police sources told CNN that the videos were shared by the players. “When the club has detailed knowledge of the facts, we will take the appropriate measures,” the statement added.

Manchester City had been in possession of the ball for a minute, no more, but to the denizens of the Santiago Bernabéu, it felt like an hour or more. Pep Guardiola’s team moved it backward and forward and then backward again. They would have known as they prepared for their Champions League semifinal that there would be phases when there was little they could do beyond watch City move the ball around. The idea that a visitor, no matter how talented, should come to the Bernabéu and look as comfortable as Manchester City did, in that spell on Tuesday night, was clearly one of them. Guardiola’s team looked so thoroughly at home that it might as well have had its feet on the coffee table and a wash in the machine.

CNN —Real Madrid has signed the highly-touted 16-year-old Brazilian forward Endrick from Brazilian club Palmeiras, both clubs announced on Thursday. “Real Madrid C. F., Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, and Endrick and his family have reached an agreement that allows the player to join Real Madrid when he reaches legal age in July 2024,” the Spanish club said in a statement. “We’ve completed the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian football,” said president of Palmeiras, Leila Pereira. According to Palmeiras, Endrick is the only player ever to be crowned champion for the Alviverde in all age categories, including with the Sub-11, Sub-13, Sub-15, Sub-17, Sub-20 and the first team.
